    BDTVMA, an esteemed annual awards scheme that recognizes and celebrates individuals and organizations making immense contributions to the art and entertainment industry in the North East region. Musicians, actors, dancers, media personalities and more has the unique oppoturnity to compete across various categories including overall artist of the year, discovery artist of the year, best music video of the year, best sound engineer of the year and best TV/RADIO presenter of the year. Organized by BREAK DOWN TV (BDTV), a registered events management firm, in collaboration with industry stakeholders, this prestigious event shines a spotlight on talent and foster growth. The influencial BDTV show promotes music artists both emerging and established, while addressing trending issues within the North East Art and Entertainment Industry.

    BDTVMA, our mission is to establish a platform that recognizes and honors the exceptional creators and entertainers within the art & entertainment of Ghana’s North East Region. We aim to provide them with a unique opportunity to compete while effectively showcasing the industry to both national and international market.

    BDTVMA envisions itself as key player in connecting and bridging the gap between the arts and entertainment industry of the Northeast Region and broader National Art and Entertainment Industry. The goal is to foster collaboration, exchange and recognition ultimately creating a unified and thriving artistic community.

    EVENT OBJECTIVES

    The core objectives of BDTVMA includes acknowledging and celebrating talented artists, creators and entertainers. It also strives to reward industry contributors who has made significant impacts within their sectors. Additionally, the event aims to showcase the NORTHEAST Art and Entertainment industry to both national and international markets.

    TARGET AUDIENCE

    The participants encompass musicians, dancers, actors, media personality, and devoted fans of these artists, with a predominant age range between 15 and 45. This includes individuals residing in and outside the North East Region, as those connected through social media platforms.
